In honor of Deafblind Awareness Week, we’re excited to share information from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) about a special event: an art show and celebration at the North Austin Complex on June 26, from 10 am to noon.
This event will highlight amazing artwork created by children who are deafblind and enrolled in Blind Children’s Program services, offering a unique opportunity to appreciate their talents and perspectives. It's a wonderful occasion to connect with the community, learn more about deafblind culture, and celebrate the creativity and resilience of these individuals.
